Who we are

The College of Medicine Ibadan Alumni Relation Office coordinates graduates of the Ibadan College of Medicine Alumni including MB, BS, BDS, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Public Health, Physiology, Biochemistry, Human Nutrition and Dentistry on matter relating to their welfare.

What our objectives are

To promote the welfare and progress of the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan and of its Teaching Hospital, the UCH, Ibadan. To encourage alumni to participate actively in all affairs concerning the University of Ibadan Alumni Association. To advance and sustain the pursuit of knowledge in the science of medicine in Nigeria. To give recognition to past and present students and staff of the College of Medicine and University College Hospital (UCH) for scholastic and other achievements. To provide a forum for free exchange of ideas for the progress of the College of Medicine. To initiate and support worthwhile, progressive and viable projects beneficial to the Alma Mater and to encourage other interested persons and groups to do the same.

What we do

Alumni Relations: Management of the ties between alumni, community and the University as well as relationships with the Branches, Chapters, Sets and other groups of College of Medicine, University of Ibadan Alumni Association. Fundraising: Organization of events for raising funds for projects in the College. Soliciting for support to the College (in cash and kind) from the relevant stakeholders and Volunteers for the sustainable growth of the University. College Activities : Co-ordinating all the College’s endowment activities Organization of Reunion Programs, Symposium etc. < h5>What we can give

AStrategic Projects – such as Lecture Theatres, Block of Classrooms, Student Halls of Residence, Staff Quarters, Laboratories, libraries and Equipment, etc to improve the infrastructural facilities in the University. Prizes – Endowment for awards of prizes to the best graduating students in any area of the donor’s choice. Contributions: annual symposium (on current health issues) to the College and University Community, with medical students as the main target audience
