Personal Statement

Dr Grace T. Fadupin obtained B.Sc., M.Sc. and PhD degrees in Human Nutrition with specialty in diet therapy; she is a registered dietitian after an Internship at the University College Hospital, Ibadan. Her research focuses mainly on the dietary management of diseases, specifically diabetes, renal failure hypertension and cancer. In some of my publications, she has developed dietary advice using local foods which is being recommended for patients in Nigeria. Her current research focuses on the psychosocial and nutritional problems as well as quality of life of the elderly in Nigeria. Her research goal is to document the risk factors, as well as the dietary factors that can pre-dispose and enhance the treatment of these ailments. She was a Sub-Undergraduate for the Faculty of Public Health and the Acting Head of Department of Human Nutrition, Faculty of Public Health, College of Medicine, University of Ibadan.
