Biography: Dr. Yetunde A. ONIMODE A nuclear physician since 2011, Dr Onimode was a lecturer in the pioneer Nuclear Medicine Unit of the Department of Radiation Oncology from July 2012 to October 2018. She is presently a senior lecturer in the newly created Department of Nuclear Medicine. She has performed research in Nuclear Medicine spanning endocrine, oncology, musculoskeletal as well as Nuclear Medicine advocacy. She aims to perform research that doesn’t end up on a shelf but rather translates to advances in medical practice. Furthermore, she would like to train, teach and mentor others to achieve similar goals. A graduate of the College of Medicine of the University of Ibadan, she is the recipient of an IAEA fellowship for an MSc (Nuclear Medicine) at Stellenbosch University in South Africa. Subsequently, she obtained a fellowship in nuclear medicine at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. She is presently a doctoral fellow with the Consortium for Advanced Research and Training in Africa (CARTA). |
