DETAILS OF TEACHING EXPERIENCE AT UNIVERSITY LEVEL 

 

I have been a Professor of Radiology for since 2004 and a qualified Radiologist since 1991.  I teach all aspects of Radiology at the undergraduate to medical students and Physiotherapy Students and at the postgraduate levels Resident doctors and Doctors enrolled for master’s in surgery. The spectrum of my lectures include; Conventional Radiology, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Ultrasonography. I have recently co-authored the Premier textbook in Radiological Physics a rare field in the Training of Radiologists not only in Nigeria but in the West African Sub region. For the benefit of the Medical students I have

 authored several articles  on Radiology in their unique  Dokita.  

I was a visiting Scholar and Consultant Radiologist, for about two years at the Korle-Bu teaching hospital, Accra, teaching and training the first set of post graduate resident doctors in Radiology at the instance of the Ghana Medical School. While in Ghana I was the acting Head of Department for a few months.

As a junior lecturer I co-ordinated and conducted the end of posting and final M. B. B. S Part IV examinations in the department.

I have also delivered several guest lectures at various fora and have participated in various workshops in Radiology and Ethics of Human Research. Only last year I gave the annual Radiology Day Guest Lecture of the National Postgraduate Medical College.
