POSITIONS AND HONORS (a) Acting Head, Department of Physiology, University of Ibadan; 1st November 2001 to 31st October 2003. (b) Pioneer Sub-Dean, (B. Sc Programmes), Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences - April 2001 to February 2002. (c) Other administrative positions in the department, faculty and College. (i) Coordinator, Departmental Teaching and Practical Timetable. I was assigned the job of preparing the draft of ALL timetables for both lectures and practicals in my department by successive heads of my Department from 1989 to 1998. The two PhD students and their titles are: 1) Dr G.O Isehunwa- Seasonal variations in Hormonal regulation of carbohydrate metabolism in common African toad. 2) Dr H.M Salahdeen-Caffeine and adenosine on carbohydrate metabolism in canine hindlimb. B) I am currently supervising one M.Sc. student and three Ph.D. students -

Afolabi – Effects of Kolanut on liver carbohydrate metabolism 3) Mr T.R Fagbohun- Hormonal regulation of carbohydrate homeostasis under different nutritional conditions 4.
