In August 2021, the Global Virus Network (GVN), a coalition of virologists from 63 Centres of Excellence and 11 Affiliates in 35 countries selected five awardees for an Inaugural Rising Star Mentorship programme. We were extremely delighted that Dr. Adeola Fowotade was among this select group chosen from around the world.
