The above research was done in collaboration with researchers from Urology division, Department of Surgery COMUI; Pathology department, COMUI, Urological Surgery Department, OAUTH and City University of New York, USA. The study was partly self-funded and additional funding was received from PIUTA AXA Mansard (Nigeria) and Africans in Diaspora Fellowships (USA).

          Research In Progress

  1. Evaluation of biomolecules and receptors underlying prostatic mutagenesis in Black African Men
  2. Research started March 2016
  3. Currently limited by funding and dependence of pathologist (who are severely understaffed in COMUI)
  4. Seeking collaborators to design a nanotechnology technique to overcome funding and skills challenges
  5. SPECT evaluation of Cerebral Blood Flow Patterns Underlying Cognitive Impairment in Stroke Survivors
  6. Funding proposal was submitted to the MEPI-J mentored research awards
  7. Expecting response by October 2018
