Biography:
Iyanuoluwa O. Ojo graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso. Oyo State. In the quest for knowledge and relevance in academia, she pursued a Master in Nursing at Obafemi Awolowo University in the year 2014 and eventually bagged a Ph.D. in Nursing from the same university in 2021. Iyanuoluwa is a dynamic and upcoming scholar with an interest in collaborating with other outstanding researchers. She is a member of the North American Nursing Diagnosis Association International and was privileged to have an oral communication of her M.sc thesis at a scientific conference organized by NANDA-I in Porto, Portugal, in 2014. She is a recipient of the NANDA foundation grant of the Marjory Gordon Program, School of Nursing Boston, MA, the USA in the year 2021.

Title: Nurse-led intervention on nurse’s documentation of nursing diagnostics in a state hospital in Nigeria

Brief Summary: The research design is a quasi-experimental and in-depth interview to evaluate Nurse-Led Intervention on Nurse's Documentation of Nursing Diagnostics in a State Hospital in Nigeria. The study setting will be Adeoyo Maternity Teaching Hospital in Ibadan. The target populations will be nurses and nursing process booklets. In sampling the Nursing participants, the technique will be a simple random method, where a table of random numbers will be given to nurses as such the participants will be randomly selected by the researcher. In selecting the respondents for an in-depth interview in the selected health institutions, stratified sampling will be used because the participant will be placed in strata. Typically, the researcher is attempting to gather data from different categories of nurses. The total number of nurses and nursing process booklets (NPBs) that will be selected in Adeoyo Maternity Teaching Hospital in Ibadan will be 55 for the training, NPBs 200. Nurses will be interviewed until saturation of information is achieved. Questionnaire, (Q-DIO) will be used to check the quality of nurses’ documentation and a structured interview guide will be used to collect data from the nurses. The instrument for data collection will be two (2) Quality Diagnoses, Interventions, and Outcomes measurement instruments (Q-DIO) for quality of documentation and an interview guide. While an educational module will be used to deliver an educative lecture on a Standardised nursing care plan.
