Biography: I am a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Community Medicine, University of Ibadan and an Honorary Consultant with the University College Hospital Ibadan where I am the current Coordinator of Kola Daisi Foundation Primary Health and Community Centre (KDFPHCC or KDFC) a model public-private partnered Primary Health Care Centre. I am a community physician and fellow of the West African College of Physicians, Faculty of Community Health and currently the Training Coordinator and a Board Member of the Faculty of Community Health. I also serve as Archives and Site Manager of the African Epidemiological Association (AfEA).
My research interests are in assessing the burden of behavioural and social problems and their outcome on various contexts of vulnerability, including age, gender, location, social circumstances, access to care, social support, and the burden of diseases and health conditions. I have expertise in designing, conducting and implementing community health programmes. I am also skilled in the evaluation of health services and programmes. I have contributed to developing outbreak response, infectious diseases and humanitarian emergencies policies at national, state and institutional levels. I have attracted and been a co-investigator and team member on grants on health systems evaluation, tobacco control, early child stimulation and primary health care.
