Researches
a. In progress
- Nutrition-related determinants of twinning in Igbo ora, Oyo State. The study is on-going and in the data collection phase. The aim of the study is to identify and explore nutritional related factors that influences high twin deliveries in Igboora.
- Social Dynamics and Infant Feeding of Twins in Igbo ora: The aim of this study is to gain understanding on how mothers with twin deliveries cope with their feeding during infancy. This study will be a qualitative in design and the pilot phase had just been concluded.
- Male Ante-natal Breastfeeding Education in South West Nigeria (MABE Study): This is an intervention study that focus on improving breastfeeding practices in South west Nigeria by incorporating a core stakeholders into breastfeeding education. This study is on data collection stage.
- Improving Knowledge, Attitude and Intention of Nigerian Young Adults toward Optimum Infant and Young Child Feeding through Community Development Service: The aim of this study is to use the platform of NYSC scheme to sensitize and educate the corps members on adequate knowledge, positive attitude and good intention towards infant feeding. This study will also establish the effectiveness of the NYSC scheme in reaching the members of their community of primary assignment on the basic information required in infant and young child feeding. The process for ethical approval for this study had just commenced.
