WORK EXPERIENCE:
I have been involved in giving lectures, tutorials to medical and dental students, Otorhinolaryngology Resident doctors on the various aspects of Ear, Nose and Throat diseases, during routine clinical teachings and update courses. This is in addition to teachings and skill demonstrations during clinic and theatre sessions. I also contribute effectively to the departmental weekly academic programmes for the Resident doctors and impartation of surgical skills in various ear, nose and throat; head and neck surgeries
AREA OF COMPETENCES/INTEREST:
My area of competences and interest is in management of laryngology, head and neck pathology, as well as airway problems and its attending complications. I also have bias for phonosurgery and voice rehabilitation as well as the factors affecting the quality of life in head and neck cancers patients.
RESEARCH FOCUS:
My area of research focus is Laryngology, Head and Neck Oncological Surgery

PERSONAL STATEMENT
My area of research focus is in Laryngology, Head and Neck Surgery with a bias towards laryngology, head and neck surgical oncology and management of upper airway problems and its attending complications. I also have a bias for phono surgery and voice rehabilitation as well as the factors affecting the quality of life in head and neck cancers patients.
RESEARCH:
- Pure tone audiological evaluation of adult patients with sickle cell disease at the University College Hospital, Ibadan (Dissertation accepted for Part II Fellowship examination of the National Postgraduate Medical College – ORL, 1999).
- Efficacy of Flixonase as an effective steroidal nasal spray in the management of patients with allergic rhinitis – undertaken on behalf of Glaxo-Wellcome Pharmaceutical Company (completed).
