Biography

Anuoluwapo Funmilayo Taiwo (nee Ogundero) graduated from the Department of Human Nutrition, University of Ibadan with a first class degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. She had her one year Dietetics internship program at the University College Hospital, University of Ibadan between 2014 and 2015. Haven received the University Scholar award, she proceeded for her MSc. program in Human Nutrition in the Department of Human Nutrition, University of Ibadan between 2017 and 2019, during which she also worked as a Graduate Assistant in the department. She joined the Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics as an Assistant Lecturer in 2019.

Anuoluwapo is a member of the Nutrition society of Nigeria, a registered dietitian in Nigeria and a member of the Dietitians Association of Nigeria and the Institute for Dietetics in Nigeria (IDN). She is also a member of the Nutrition Society of Nigeria and the American Society for Nutrition.

My area of specialization include Public health Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition/Dietetics and Dietary Intake Assessment. I have participated and carried out research work in these research areas among children, adolescents and adults. My current PhD research work is focused on Multiple Micronutrient Use among Pregnant women.
