One of the highlights of the event is a symposium which will hold on Friday 21 April 2023. The class will hold some other special events on Saturday 22 April with departure slated for Sunday 23 April 2023. The class reps explained that the class had hoped to gather at 30 years post-graduation, but the COVID 19 pandemic had prevented this. They are therefore gathering 33 years after graduation.
The Provost while responding, expressed appreciation to the class for the initiative to have a reunion 33 years after graduation. She offered useful tips to the class reps on how to derive maximum benefit from the events. She expressed the willingness of the College to support the Class in the planning and execution of the programme. The Provost was accompanied at the courtesy visit by the Deputy Provost, Professor Fatai Adeniyi and they both went ahead to seek support from the Class of 1990 especially in respect of the ongoing hostel project. The representatives responded that this was on the front burner for them.
The representatives of the Class seized the opportunity to extend invitations to members of staff of the College, past teachers who taught them while in school, students, and other alumni of the College to join them in the celebration.
