Oloruntomiwa Ifedayo Oyetunde, PhD holds a first degree in Child Development, a Master of Public Health in Child and Adolescent Health, and a PhD in Child and Adolescent Health. She recently joined the University of Ibadan as a Research Fellow in the Social and Behavioural Health Unit, Institute of Child Health, where she will be contributing to youth-centred research and evidence generation aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of adolescents and young people in Nigeria and across Africa. Her work is driven by a strong commitment to increase inclusion and meaningful representation of young people in research, policies and programmes She has more than 8 years of experience in research, coordination and implementation of public health projects and programmes. Oloruntomiwa has worked with national and international development partners, including the Clinton Health Access Initiative and Pivot Collective Inc., contributing to the design and delivery of youth-friendly, evidence-informed health interventions. Her research focuses on social support systems, mental health, digital health and health-seeking behaviours among adolescents and young mothers. She has presented her work at national and international forums. She is passionate about translating youth voices into action and advancing equitable health outcomes for young people across Nigeria.
