Site Construction Activities

Block C (Philip Ozuah Block)

Update: Second floor slab.

This block's construction is at the superstructure stage of the second-floor level. The formwork of this slab has been completed with the placement of the reinforcement nearing 95% completion and the electrical/mechanical service sleeves placement at 80%. The blockwork of the room wall partitions commenced on the ground floor and is ongoing.

The casting of the second-floor slab is slated for the first week in May.

Update: The construction work on this block is at the substructure stage with the laterite earth filling, steel reinforcement, and electrical /mechanical services sleeves placement still ongoing.

Block F (Alumni Block)

Update: The substructure stage of the construction is nearing completion with the commencement of the casting of the ground floor oversite concrete slab. The contractor informed the team present of the sanitary wares procured and stored on site. 

The casting of the oversite concrete slab was slated for completion by the close of work on Friday 26th April 2024.
