Site Construction Activities
Block C (Philip Ozuah Block)
Update: The blockwork for the partition walls continues on the ground floor, the casting of the lintel for the door and windows is ongoing. The formwork striking-off is ongoing on the second floor. The making of the formwork for the floor beams of the third-floor slab and the blockwork for the wall partitions on the ground floor are still ongoing. The electrical cables conduit piping has commenced on the ground floor.
TimeLine: As of the 27th of May - 31st of May, the casting of the lintel for the door and windows is at 60% completion
Challenges: There has been no significant challenge in the construction works of this block.

Block D (TY Danjuma Block)
Update: The casting of the columns to support the first-floor slab is completed with the formworks striking. The formworks for the floor beams of the floor slab are ongoing.
TimeLine: As of the 27th of May - 31st of May, the casting of the first floor with the formworks striking has been completed.
Challenges: There has been no significant challenge in the construction works of this block.

Block E (Block)
Update: The substructure work for the foundation is ongoing as the profiles are done and the excavation work has commenced.
Challenges: There are no significant challenges to be reported for now.

Block F (Alumni Block)
Update: The placement of the steel reinforcement, electrical, and mechanical services sleeves on the formwork of the first-floor slab has been completed. The casting of the first-floor slab has also commenced.
