Construction Activity Reporting Schedule

Date: 2nd February, 2024.

General Update on the Project Site

Reports of Meetings Held

The site inspection was held on the 1st of February 2024. The fortnightly meeting had in attendance the project Client, consultant, contractors, and representatives. The contractors were urged to do more by doubling their efforts on the project to take advantage of the fair-weather conditions to achieve greater milestones.

Site Construction Activities

Block C (Philip Ozuah Block)

Update: The boarding of the first-floor beam formwork continues on site. The contractor continues to take delivery of more building materials and the fabrication of steel handrails. The fabrication of the steel handrails is ongoing.

The situation with Timeline:

As of the 29th of January - 1st of February, the boarding of the formworks for the beams of the first-floor slab has reached 50% completion.

Block D (TY Danjuma Block)

Update: The compaction and sand filling for the blinding of the foundation base continues on site. The contractor continues to receive delivery of more building materials.

The situation with Timeline:

As of 29th of January - 1st of February, the contractor commenced making formworks to blind the foundation base.

Block F (Alumni Block)

Update: The blinding of the levelled foundation base continues on site. The fabrication of the site boarding for the site boundary is ongoing. The contractor took deliveries of more building materials. 

The situation with Timeline:

As of the 29th of January - 1st of February, the blinding of the foundation base has reached 60% completion, even as more compaction work is ongoing on the remaining part of the substructure.
