Construction Activity Reporting Schedule

Site Construction Activities

Block C (Philip Ozuah Block)

Update: The casting of the windows and doors lintel commenced on the ground floor, the raising of the steel reinforcement and formworks for the columns on the third floor, the casting of the columns to support the fourth-floor slab, and the raising of the columns on the second-floor slab are still ongoing. On the ground floor plastering of the soffit of the first-floor slab has commenced.

TimeLine: As of the 20th of May - 25th of May, the raising of steel reinforcements for support of the third floor is at 95% completion, the casting of the columns to support the fourth-floor slab has reached 45%, the raising of the columns on the second-floor slab is at 60% completion and the casting of the windows and doors lintel commenced on the ground floor has reached 40% completion

Challenges: There has been no significant challenge on the construction works of this block.

Block D (TY Danjuma Block)

Update: The raising of steel reinforcement and formwork for the concrete columns that will support the first-floor slab and the casting of the reinforced concrete columns are still ongoing. The raising of the columns to support the first-floor slab is also still ongoing. The formwork for the floor beams has commenced.

TimeLine: As of the 20th of May - 25th of May, the concrete columns that will support the first-floor slab has reached 70 % completion, while the casting of the reinforced concrete columns has reached 45% completion.

Challenges: There has been no significant challenge on the construction works of this block.

Block E

Update: The site clearing and setting out has commenced. The profiles for the setting out are being positioned on-site

Challenges: No significant challenges to report now.

Block F (Alumni Block)

Update: The formwork and placement of the steel reinforcement for the first-floor slab and sleeves for the mechanical and electrical services works are ongoing.

Timeline: As of the 20th of May - 25th of May, the formwork and placement of the steel reinforcement of the first-floor slab has reached 75% completion.

Challenges: There has been no significant challenge on the construction works of this block.
